PROTECTING THE PLANET

Afforestation

Afforestation

We have planted over 300,000 trees across their campuses and operational areas. The afforestation efforts are focused on climate action, which has been one of the main goals and initiatives aimed at the protection of the planet.

Apart from the environmental benefits, the trees have also been a source of shade and comfort during harsh climatic conditions. With pollution increasing by the minute, cleaner air is an absolute necessity in today’s time and hence the organization strives and continues to protect and nurture nature. Increasing the green land, also protects the little animals for whom the trees are their natural habitat.

Water Conservation

Water Conservation

The company is committed to comprehensive water conservation, saving over 250 million litres of water annually through initiatives such as on-campus recycling, rainwater harvesting, and other resource-efficient practices across its facilities.

Beyond internal efforts, the Trust has supported external conservation projects, including the revitalization of ponds and lakes in Sirohi, southern Rajasthan-critical water sources for surrounding villages. These initiatives reflect a broader commitment to environmental sustainability and community welfare, particularly addressing water scarcity in the family’s native region.

Animal Welfare

Animal Welfare

At our core, we believe that responsible growth includes compassion for every living being. Guided by the Jain principle of Jivadaya—care and respect for all forms of life—we have translated this ethos into sustained, on-ground action.

Our commitment is reflected in the establishment of the Shree Pavapuri Tirth Jiv Maitri Dham in Rajasthan, which houses a dedicated Jeev Raksha Kendra (Animal Welfare Centre). Spread across more than 740,000+ square meters, this facility provides shelter and daily care to nearly 5000+ stray cattle. The shelter is supported by a 24/7 Veterinary Hospital, ensuring timely medical attention and a safe, healthy environment for the animals.

Our efforts also extend to preserving local biodiversity. We maintain designated pigeon-feeding zones and support regular feeding programmes for stray dogs across several villages near Sirohi, Rajasthan.

Each year, we invest USD 1.8 million in animal welfare initiatives, reaffirming our belief that sustainable development must embrace the wellbeing of all living beings who share our ecosystem.

Renewable Energy

Renewable Energy

The organization functions in industries that are otherwise known for huge consumption of energy, which in today’s time, directly affects the planet. Hence, the KP Sanghvi Group adopted practices early on to ensure that we stand by our commitment to protect the planet.

Renewable Electricity Share

K P Sanghvi sources a substantial portion of its power from clean sources. The company commits to drawing one-third of its total electricity consumption from renewable sources, primarily solar and wind power.

Green Buildings & Efficiency

We are actively working towards greater sustainability in their infrastructure. We are converting existing factory facilities into high-performance green buildings that comply with LEED Platinum Certification. This initiative is part of a larger push to bring about a 360 degree improvement with the main goal of moving towards net-zero emissions.
