PIONEERING SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
Watch and Jewellery Initiative 2030
In 2024, we joined WJI 2030, co-founded by Kering and Cartier, to contribute towards building climate resilience, preserving resources, & fostering inclusivity across the industry. The collaboration comes with the initiative to merge luxury with responsibility towards the planet and its people. Together, we aim to deliver luxury with the conscience of protecting the environment and inclusivity, thereby elevating the lives of the members of the larger community.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
We proudly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), where we have successfully implemented 14 of their 17 goals. Empowerment, saving the planet, combating hunger, and responsibilities like these have become essential ethics practices followed by the organization, which aids in KP Sanghvi becoming a world leader not only in innovation and excellence but also as responsible partners to build a sustainable future.
Responsible Jewellery Council
We were certified by RJC in 2012, thereby adhering to transparent and ethical practices, in day to day operations. The RJC framework guides our approach to ethical sourcing, employee health, safety and welfare, transparency across the supply chain, human rights due diligence, and environmental stewardship. This partnership ensures that our practices are measurable, accountable and continually improving — for the benefit of our employees, suppliers and the communities we serve.
OriginalLuxury
We are proud members of ORIGINALLUXURY, a research-driven platform advancing transparency and technology in the luxury sector. This affiliation supports our ongoing commitment to greater clarity, accountability, and innovation.
LEED Platinum Certification
Our facilities have achieved the prestigious LEED Platinum certification, which is the highest global recognition for green buildings by the U.S Green Building Council. This achievement reflects our ethical practices that are targeted towards a sustainable future. The promise to protect, is an inherent part of our day to day operations which we have achieved in the following ways;
WATER CONSERVATION
Our advanced water management systems enable the conservation of over 15 million liters annually. Rainwater from all impervious areas is harvested into the campus pond, treated, and repurposed for landscaping and sanitation, ensuring responsible and circular water use.
Renewable Energy & Efficiency
We source 1/3rd of our electricity needs from renewable sources such as solar and wind power. This helps us reduce our carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions.
AIR QUALITY
We have ensured that our spaces are sustainable by converting the existing facilities to high performance green buildings thereby improving the indoor air quality.
CIRCULAR ECOSYSTEM
All our efforts are targeted towards becoming a Zero Waste Company. We have a Green Purchase Policy that prioritizes local sourcing, recycled products, eco-friendly cleaning materials, and eliminating single-use plastic.
